Welcome to our corner of the world! It is my intention to use this short section to up-date you regularly and to provide timely information and news of interest. I hope that you will enjoy these short letters.
First off, I want to congratulate the Sunbound Marketing Services Team that conceived and created our new web site. We hope you find it informational and easy to navigate and we will always appreciate your feed-back and comments. As with all of our print graphics, and visual media both video and photo, it was created and produced entirely in-house.
We are also very proud of having completed our fall-2006 moves and expansions into new offices and warehouses simultaneously in Fort Lauderdale, Nassau and Grand Bahama Island! Fort Lauderdale even boasts a fully equipped sound studio! Please visit us.
But mostly I’m way proud to be associated with a super team of over fifty full-time professionals in two countries that have forged themselves into what I call (with thanks to Jack Welch): One Team, better and faster than anybody else in the world! And now for the News…
PASSPORTS NOW REQUIRED. The requirement by the United States Government for machine-readable passports for all persons, including U.S. citizens entering or returning to the United States from The Bahamas, took affect January 23, 2007.
ATLANTIS. What an expansion! I just returned from a quick tour of the new facilities at Atlantis – Paradise Island! I could only shake my head to see how far and how fast construction has gone since I last took a look “behind the scenes”. The new Dolphin Cay with its famous “Katrina Dolphins” opened February 26, with the Sea Lion exhibit opening soon. Soon we expect to include these amazing clowns in some of our themed evenings as well. The Cove Atlantis is also now open, nestled between exceptional Cove and Paradise Beaches!
The incredible new Atlantis Conference Center is then expected to open on April 1, 2007! The expanded facility will feature a new 50,000 sq ft. Imperial Ballroom – the largest in The Bahamas and Caribbean - with over 30,000 sq ft. of pre-function space. That’s in addition to 30 break-out rooms, three boardrooms, a large staging area and a new banquet kitchen with additional pantries and facilities to accommodate up to 5,000 guests. The best part? Sunbound’s Realization Department will be right there with you!
